I am very excited and blessed to be teaching 2nd grade this coming school year. I grew up in Mankato, MN, attended MVL and Martin Luther College in New Ulm. I graduated from MLC in 1999 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in music. Currently I live in New Ulm with my husband Tim of 20 years, my 2 year old son, Anthony and our 4 dogs.
After college I taught 1st and 2nd grade for 1 year in Nicollet, MN. I have taught preschool at Osceola, WI, taught band, piano and organ lessons for Christ Lutheran School in North St. Paul, and was a teacher/preschool director in Duluth, MN.
I am Heidi Remmele. I was born in Marshall, Minnesota and spent most of my younger years in Balaton. My mom was the town librarian, and my siblings and I spent our summers reading there. When my dad starting working as an agronomist in Echo, our family moved there and my mom took a call to teach in Wood Lake. Growing up, my two sisters and two brothers and I often played school, and due to the great Lutheran teachers and my mom as role models, teaching came naturally to me.
I have been blessed to teach grades 7 and 8 at St. John Lutheran School since 2019. Graduating from Martin Luther College in 2019, I received my license and degrees in Elementary Education and Secondary Social Studies Education. In my classroom, I work to foster my students' personal and educational growth, preparing them for high school and beyond, all in the light of God's Word.
Born in Nebraska and raised in Wisconsin, I call Marshfield, WI my home town, where my parents still live. I have a younger sister and a younger brother, who also live in Wisconsin.
