St. John prioritizes faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior. We teach our students about Jesus every day and focus our goals around our mission statement:
Training disciples of Jesus Christ through the Word and a Christ-centered education.St. John Lutheran School opened its doors for the first time in the fall of 1983 with four teachers in kindergarten through 8th-grade. This motion passed the church council by a one-person vote. Since 1983, St. John has grown to support 14 teachers with an early childhood center, a Spanish program, band, choir, student academic support, and almost one teacher per grade. All of this totals 186 students in preschool through 8th-grade.
In 2009 St. John realized that the building could no longer support the growing enrollment. In 2010, St. John opened its doors to a new 35,000 square-foot facility, including a gymnasium and enough classrooms for a growing enrollment. In 2013, the building had reached its capacity and a new addition was opened giving 5th-8th grade their own classroom. The new building gave St. John a footprint in the community, and we have been stepping forward in faithful ministry ever since.
